Member Carolyn Moore tells much about Shadow Weave
Carolyn presented an excellent program on the concept of "Shadow Weave", and how it relates to other color-and-weave effects. This scrapbook shows some of the items from her talk, as well as some of the show-and-share items from that meeting.

One example of shadow weave with an error
major threading error in the middle
This was NOT one of Carolyn's samples (she would not make this mistake!). It was a show-and-share item, highlighting what can happen if one is not careful to check before beginning to weave. The weaver sharing this explained that she had woven 3 towels, took them off the loom and finished them, before seeing the error. Moral of the story - CHECK your threading before you start!!! Don't get too cocky!
