I have a 45″ 4-shaft counter-balance floor loom that I need to sell prior to moving to a much smaller home. The loom is in very good condition; it has a quiet, smooth action and a wide shed. I am the original owner. It is equipped with:
- 6 treadles
- a cloth beam ratchet, and warp beam friction brake for high, even tension
- removable cloth and breast beams for easy threading
- 1200 inserted eye heddles
- a 12-dent steel reed
- nylon cords for treadle tie-up and shaft rollers.
The sale also includes the matching maple loom bench that I bought with the loom, along with a raddle and lease sticks for warping. If purchased new today, the cost of these items together would be about $4,500. The asking price is $850 or best offer. Available for pickup at my home in Salem.
