Using Your Stash to Weave Wabi Sabi, with Tammy Bast (the Rogue Weaver).
Join Tammy Bast, The Rogue Weaver, for an inspiring weaving presentation that embraces the art of spontaneity. In this session, you’ll dive deep into your stash, learning how to creatively sort and pair yarns of different colors and textures. Tammy will guide you through selecting the right reed and warping your loom in ways that break traditional rules—resulting in a scarf that’s as unique and beautiful as the materials you use. Participants will learn how to weave a beautiful scarf using yarns from their own stash. This presentation is geared to weavers who want to explore creative ways to work with yarns they already have, without needing any new materials. Through detailed instruction, you’ll learn how to choose the right yarns, plan your project, and weave a stunning scarf on your loom.
